Reporting to the Associate Athletic Director for Data & Business Intelligence, the Analyst builds dashboards and models, supports revenue and CRM strategy, and partners with cross-functional teams to translate analysis into actionable commercial decisions. | | | | | | | | |

Other responsibilities may be assigned. | | | % TIME | • | Reporting & Dashboard Development • Design and implement reports and Power BI dashboards to support the athletic department’s business needs. • Create and maintain management dashboards that visualize data across all aspects of revenue generation (ticketing, donations, premium seating, sponsorship, merchandising, licensing, etc.). • Translate dashboard outputs into clear, executive-level visualizations and presentations that deliver actionable recommendations to Ticketing, Gameday, Development and other commercial stakeholders. • Build routine reporting cadence (daily/weekly/monthly) and ensure dashboards meet stakeholder requirements for timeliness and clarity. | 35% | • | Analytics & Measurement • Perform ad-hoc analyses to answer business questions and test hypotheses about pricing, promotions, demand, and fan/donor behavior. • Develop and maintain forecasting and performance models to support revenue planning, pricing scenarios, and initiative evaluation. • Design measurement frameworks and run experiments/analyses to gauge the effectiveness of initiatives (e.g., promotions, bundles, CRM campaigns), producing post-implementation performance reports. • Partner with stakeholders to scoping analytic work, define success metrics, and convert analytic results into recommended next steps. | 30% | • | CRM Strategy & Engagement • Create and implement CRM strategies to maximize outbound engagement with fans and donors, including segmentation, campaign design, and performance tracking. • Work with Ticketing, Development, Marketing and Gameday teams to operationalize CRM campaigns and integrate CRM outputs with dashboarding and reporting. • Monitor campaign performance, iterate on targeting and messaging, and surface lessons learned to improve future engagement efforts. | 20% | • | Data Integrity, Governance & DBI Collaboration • Manage data integrity and reconciliation processes in partnership with the Ticket Office and Development staff (ensuring accurate, auditable data flows). • Collaborate closely with DIA Data & Business Intelligence (DBI) to align with enterprise data sources, governance, metadata standards, and reporting practices. • Document data sources, assumptions, transformations, and maintain reproducible pipelines so that dashboards and analyses are trustworthy and maintainable. | 15% | | | | | |

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. | Minimum Qualifications: | | Specialty Factors: | • High school diploma or equivalent. • Two (2) years of work experience in IT‐related functions such as hardware/software support, programming, network design, network engineering, IT systems integration, or closely related field. College coursework which includes Information Technology (IT), IT Management, Programming, IT systems, or a closely related discipline may be substituted as follows: 30 semester hours equals one (1) year, Associate’s Degree (60 semester hours) equals eighteen (18) months, 90 semester hours equals two (2) years, Bachelor’s Degree (120 semester hours) equals three (3) years). • Demonstrated experience with data analytics within college athletics. | Preferred Qualifications: | Master’s degree in business, analytics, or related field. 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in analytics, revenue management, business intelligence, or related roles. Preferred experience includes work with ticketing platforms (e.g., Paciolan), CRM systems (Salesforce), forecasting/pricing models, and developing executive dashboards and reporting. Certifications or coursework in data analytics, Power BI, SQL, or related platforms. | | | | |
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: | KSAs | Strong skills with data visualization tools (Power BI preferred). Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Strong Microsoft Power Apps/Microsoft Power Automate skills. Strong ability to analyze and summarize data for non-technical stakeholders; excellent communication skills. Ability, to manage multiple priorities. Knowledge and skilled in industry practices related to analytics and revenue management.
